Alfred Griggs

Al Griggs graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1963. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963 to 1968. Al received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1970. He is a former Coca-Cola Bottler. He has been a member of the Assembly of Overseers since 1993.
Al is a director of the Beveridge Family Foundation and Leadership Pioneer Valley. He is a former Chair of the National Soft Drink Association, an Emeritus Trustee and former President of the Williston Northampton School, an Emeritus Trustee and former Chair of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, former Chair of the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts and former President of the Lake Sunapee Protective Association. Al is a former Trustee of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Board of Trustees, Chair Emeritus of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, the current Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Board Chair, and Chair of the Development Committee for D-H.
Al and his wife, Sally, live in Northampton, Massachusetts, and Sunapee, New Hampshire.
